Who'll Still Be Culturally Relevant in 20 Years?
Don't get me wrong, I think Zac Efron is talented, cute, funny, etc., etc., etc. But can I picture him still doing movies in 2028?
Uh, no.
And that's not necessarily a bad thing - very few people have the ability to have such long-standing careers - but I wonder to myself who's still going to be working in Hollywood in 20 years.
Out of today's giant pool of celebs, who do you think will still be working?
Also, for giggles, what do you think Zac Efron will be doing in 2028?

Anne Hathaway will still be working in 20 years.
Zac Efron will fade into oblivion, and as long as he invests wisely, he won't become the next reality show nuisance like Danny Bonaduce.
He'll get caught up in the drug scene and eventually die of overdose.
@wherethefishlives@xanga - I was just about to say Anne Hathaway! I just saw her in Rachel Getting Married, and she has turned into something great. Different from the Princess Diaries era we were introduced to her in, but good.
Zac Efron - Not so much. He's nothing special even now.
I think Zac Efron will be a tragedy. Right along with all of the other Disney stars. Disney must really corrupt people, because look at previous disney "it kids". They have turned into something messy, with the exception of Christina Aguilera. Shes relatively normal. But yeah.
I think Kirsten Stewart might be around 20 years from now. I cant really think of anyone though, most people are really untalented these days.
Zac Efron is actually a decent actor [I absolutely loved him in Miracle Run], so I think while he may not be a big superstar like he is now, he'll still be around doing small-time films.
Oprah will still be famous. So will Obama. Miley Cyrus will probably be too. They'll be talking about her latest scandels. As for Zac Efron, he'll fade. No, actually he'll still be famous. Someone has got to star in High Shcool Musical 18.
I hope Miley Cyrus vanishes into complete oblivion. The Jonah's brothers as well and the whole hills cast.
I think that Dakota Fanning will still be around, she's pretty good for her age right now. Don't know how she will end up, what with growing up so young in hollywood, look at the olsens.

Zac Efron will fade away at some point. Totally agree on Dakota Fanning still being around. Can see Miley Cyrus still being around in 20 years time. Can still see Orlando Bloom being around. Know he's not done much recently but still think he'll be around.

call my crazy but I think Zac Effron has staying power.
I think he secretly resents having to do all this HSM nonsense (it's so beneath him) and he can't wait for a role that will really let him spread his wings.

Cate Blanchett, Kate Winslet, Keira Knightley, Anne Hathaway are three people I think will still be working.
god I hope not! The whole HSM crew...they should be sucked into a giant random space-time-whirlpool. Throw in Miley Cyrus too...and maybe Selena Gomez...and..jesus, I don't know. Lol.

Probably married to Vanessa Hudgens. But I really don't see him as that "superstar" material, really. There are a lot of talented people out there. Just...undiscovered. :D

For women: Anne Hathaway, Natalie Portman, Gabrielle Union.
Men: James Franco, Emile Hirsch, Gael Garcia Bernal.They're all super versatile and talented, but can still do big budget without seeming like sellouts.
And if I got my wish, we will soon see the last of Hayden "I'm already typecast" Panetierre.

Not many actors in this upcoming generation will be very lasting. The Hannah Montanas and Zack Efrons will be gone within the next few years.
Most of them won't be gone soon enough, unfortunately.
