Heroes Fan with Questions
This is a guest blog submitted by pinkpeekaboo.I have been a Heroes fan since the first episode, and I don't believe that I have missed an episode yet. I've been watching the current season - hopefully no spoilers for those of you who aren't caught up yet - but what I don't understand from Season 2 is what happened with Peter's girlfriend from Ireland, Caitlin? Peter accidentally teleported with her into the future and then teleported back to "regular" times without her. Does he not remember her? Because the way they talk about it now is that he has seen the future and that it doesn't look good. Well... to me it just doesn't make sense.
Most of it is coming together with seasons one and two, but there are still a few odds and ends that I'm not sure if they're waiting to address or if it's just been put on the back burner.
Besides Caitlin, what ever happened with Nathan's wife and kids? Did he abandon them? Did they run off? Or did they mysteriously disappear?
What about Nikki's little boy, Micah, and her cousin? I thought they were going somewhere with Micah and then all of a sudden Nikki dies, so he's no longer a part of the picture? I understand bringing in new characters to make things interesting, but leave in the original characters as well! I was so excited to see what was going to happen this season - heck, I'm still excited with all of the twists and turns - but there are still some things I'd like to see answered and some characters I'd like to see more of.

Haha yea, the second season wasn't exactly very strong. For the most part the writers pretty much wrote out a lot of the characters that were introduced in season 2, or they just had them killed off. Caitlin is apparently stuck in that alternative future and according to the writers we aren't gonna hear about her again.
I really hope the upcoming season will be a lot better, especially now that one of the original writers from season one (the best season hands down) is back on the show. Sucks that Pushing Daisies had to be canceled for that to happen though
Those are a lot of the questions I had, too! I really expected them to explore the storyline with Micah and Tracy as well, even though I'm mostly happy Micah managed to stay out of season 3 for a lot of its weaker moments. I wasn't the biggest fan of Caitlyn either, so I'm kinda happy the writers chose to leave her in that version of the future and have it all done with. And what did happen to Nathan's wife and kids? Sure he's embarking on a lovely affair with Tracy, but did they just vanish off the face of the planet? I'm confused...
this current season has definitely been the worst. so many new characters and the acting has become so fake. disappointment with heroes =(
I've never watched Heroes but I have heard a lot off good things bout it.
Didn't Nathan's wife leave him? Or am I thinking of some other show?
Those are my top three wonderings about this season as well...what the heck? The show just up and moves on without letting it's viewers in on what happened to these people. Did they think we would just forget about 'em and move on too? Weirdness.
This show sucks now. It's just a bunch of plot holes, stolen storylines, and melodramatic acting.
Well at least now I know that I'm not the only one who was questioning this. I was hoping that I may have missed an episode or part.
So does anyone think they'll tie this together or that they've just moved on and hoped that we (the viewers) have too?
You should realize by now that the writers don't care about continuity. If you're expecting Lost from this show, you should give up. Every week brings huge gaps in logic: Arthur's suicide was a big plot point in season 1 and then everyone was talking about it being a heart attack. Why would Peter need to go into the future to get Sylar's power if he ended up losing his powers shortly after? What was the point of saving the cheerleader if her skull got cut open anyway? Why does no one diagnose Suresh with some form of mental retardation?
