  • Are You Still Watching Grey's Anatomy?

This is a guest blog submitted by juniper_breeeze.

    Dear Grey's Anatomy,

I'm sorry, but this relationship has to end. Let's face it, the spark between us is gone. You were once my favorite show and now you are nothing but a heartache. Every Thursday night you were there for me, there to make me laugh and there when I cried.

How can you cut out O'Malley like that? First it was the failing Christina and Burke relationship, then the whole McDreamy thing which is still awkward, and now Denny the ghost is back?

I used to wait for every episode like there was no tomorrow, and now I think I can live without you. Ha! I'm sorry, but I have to break up with you.

    Your Ex-Fan,

    JB.

Have you broken up with any shows lately?

grey's peaked season 2 and ever since then, it's been on a decline... i still watch, but it's becoming painful...

I love Greys Anatomy. I've never loved a show as much as this, A show has never made me cry so much. I am very shocked and saddened that T.R Knight (O'Mally) is leaving the show though =0( I am still a #1 fan though!

I'm with you. Grey's became such a disappointment when Izzy started having an affair with O'Maley. Like they were literally recycling relationships. I thought that relationship was a stretch. However I am soooo excited about Scrubs. Oh how I missed Scrubs so much. So good finally see it.

  • whoaXXangela@xanga

I also broke up with Grey's Anatomy... it was best for both of us.
Now I'm in a really amazing relationship with CRIMINAL MINDS and DEXTER.

@szafar7981@xanga - I'm this close to dumping Heroes.  I haven't seen many episodes of season 3 but I'm really close.

House is infinitely better than Gray's Anatomy

  • SpongeBobScaredyPants@xanga

a lot of things about the show have bothered me lately.  The Denny thing is odd, but, I enjoy looking at him very much...:)

  • Naoko_Ai@xanga

I can't really break up with a show if I hated it from the first place.

To me, Grey's Anatomy is nothing but a hospital with a bunch of sex and drama. "Oh, we're supposed to save lives... BUT WHAT THE HELL LET'S GO SEX." Yeah, not into it.

    House is so much better.

  • enchantedthoughts@xanga

The whole Denny-Ghost thing is really annoying, but I still love the show. I'm not waiting for it every Thursday anymore, but I still Tivo every episode and watch it when I'm bored. I wouldn't say it's complete crap, It's just not as good as it once was.
I just want Izzy and Alex to get together already! xP

My first break up was with Gilmore Girls; they lost me in Season 4 =( I broke up with Grey's Anatomy during its 4th Season as well. & I have parted ways with Heroes. It began at the beginning of its 3rd season, but now it's official. ='( I'm still seeing One Tree Hill, though =)

  • x47stickyfingers@xanga

I can't give it up. Not now. I've been watching that show ever since it began rolling, so I can't. It means a lot to me and I've got season 1,2 and 3 on dvd's. I just love it. Eventhough Meredith and Cristina aren't talking and Denny is back which is kinda odd. I love Grey's, always have and probably always will :b <3

  • unboyfriendable@xanga

Yea, we broke up. I think it was a Thursday...

Seriously, I was so in love with this show; then I just sort of lost interest. I think it was around the time that O'Malley eloped, and the blonde girl (lol I can't even remember the names!) realized that she looooved him.
    And then they all died.

Well, at least that's what happened in my version since I don't  know or care about what happened to them.
    *sigh*

  • Sam707@xanga

I am sooo over the show. I stopped half way through the episode where "sadie" was getting cut open

  • NYClatinathug@xanga

I can't help but be with grey's. I have no other life on Thursday nights (unless i have to work), plus it's right after Ugly Betty, which is one of my fave shows =]

@ladydamsel@xanga - Private Practice is a pretty good show, though sometimes the relationships sparked are kind of odd. Definitely better than grey's.

  • just_the_average_jane@xanga

I'm still watching Grey's, though the Denny ghost does irritate me.  If they don't eventually have a good explanation for it (Izzy has a tumor or some sort of condition causing hallucinations), I think I'll have to dump the show.

I stopped watching Ugly Betty and Lost --Betty just stopped being interesting after awhile, since it became kind of predictable. And Lost started getting all supernatural instead of sci-fi.  Plus, after they got off the island, it just started to feel like one of those things where the series has ended, but the writers are trying to squeeze more out of it just because it did well.

  • sheSOwicked@xanga

I stopped watching Grey's at the end of the first season. The whole season started and ended with Meredith's and McDreamy's thing, I think they're still doing it... are they? It just goes on and on.

  • Iamgettingby@xanga

I can't stop Grey's I'm afraid, the bond is too deep. I didn't know O'Malley was leaving either until I just read this ='[ The Denny thing is annoying me, terribly. It's just ridiculous, the whole thing is getting quite ridiculous. When Meredith died and started speaking to all those people as well, I mean seriously?

  • tvPUFF@xanga

I was never really a huge fan of Grey's anatomy because I'm a dude, but I have seen a few episodes. If they got rid of Grey, they would be much better off. Also, if they didn't have people having sex with ghosts. I mean, really, if you kill a character off on a medical drama, just let them go. Nobody needs to see people being haunted by visions of dead people. It's like 50% of characters on tv are schitzophrenic.

  • youngvan@xanga

What happened with McDreamy? I stopped watching after the CHristina and Burke break up.

  • dirtbubble@xanga

I always hated this show. Want funny, poignant and sensitive?Watch Scrubs. Want great doctor drama? Watch ER. Horrible writing, terrible direction, unoriginal concept. Lame.

And that blond girl who won all the awards? The worst TV actress ever.

If only you had never started watching it then you would never have had to go through this now.

  • simply_esBah@xanga

Oh man I stopped watching after season 3...
the first three were really good...season 4 was a dud..

  • ashleymarie_x@xanga
  • x3KamiKaze@xanga

As lame as it may sound, i could never break up with Grey's Anatomy no matter how down the toilet the show could go. I still laugh i still cry and i still learn valuable lessons each and every episode. Don't get me wrong i don't HAVE to be home to watch them every thursday and as the seasons go on the more and more i miss episodes... but its still my little guilty pleasure :)
