A Third 'Lara Croft'? Seriously?!
I just read an article that nearly killed me. They're planning on making a 3rd Lara Croft movie. What?! The last one they made was six years ago in 2003! Isn't two enough?
The first one was okay. It had an interesting plot and some nice action sequences. Plus it had Daniel Craig before he was a household name.
The second one was really unnecessary. I don't even remember it.
Having a third one is just beating a dead horse.
Megan Fox was in talks for the role (since Jolie doesn't want to do a third one) but those claims were denied when Fox's people said she wasn't interested. That's a good call on Megan Fox's part. As much as I hate her, I wouldn't want her to waste her time on a dead franchise. Rhona Mitra (Doomsday) is also rumored to be in talks for the role:

ick! the only reason anyone watched the first two was because Angelina Jolie was in it. In the economys current state, I highly doubt this will even reap ANY funds at the box office, it might even do worse than that one movie, Dalgo or something?
I liked the plot of Tomb Raider. The girl kicks ass, man. But I'm still not over the Brad thing. Boo. And I think Megan Fox could possibly fit the role, but the third movie will probably be a dead end. People usually watch the movie for hot girls, anyway.
I'm big fan of the Tomb Raider games and I loved the first two movies, but if Angelina Jolie isn't going to be in the third I don't think I really want to see it. I think Jolie was perfect as Lara and I couldn't see anyone else playing the part, but her.
