Weirdest Names for Musical Groups
Okay, I understand the names Metro Station, Good Charlotte and My Chemical Romance. They are comprehensible by the English language.
But ne-yo, lady Gaga and Lil wayne? What?! Those are some weird names.
Add to the list: Plies. I even heard one Thugga-ish and Death by Tampon (editor's favorite).
I have nothing against their music. I like some of it. But i actually snorted out laughing when I heard some of the names. Who comes up with them?

How is Lil' Wayne a weird name?....It just sounds like a name with Lil' in front of it...

Hmm off the top of my head, I think some of the weirdest band names (not saying anything of their musical talents of course) are Death Cab For Cutie, Frou Frou, and Goo Goo Dolls. I dig them, but when I first heard their names I was like wtf?

Lady Gaga has a purpose for her name. I think it's based off a Queen (?) song called 'Radio Gaga.'

Well, Venetian Snares is kind of a strange name, but it's nothing compared to what some of his songs and albums are called... not to mention the music itself. It's incredibly bizarre. So is the guy who makes the music....
One of my favorite Venetian Snares albums is in a made-up language (written, not verbal). The album is called Rossz Csillag Alatt Szuletett. The songs are:

Well, since no one seems to listing the strange names of Christian music artists i guess i will.
Beanbag, Brave Saint Saturn, Cool Hand Luke, DigHayZoose, EleventySeven, Five Iron Frenzy, Kaboose, Lost Dogs, Lost Ocean (how does one lose an ocean?!?!?! I've never understood that.), Mute Math, Olivia The Band, One Bad Pig, Poor Old Lu, Roper...Etc.
Yeah, i don't listen to any of these. Except the occasional Mute Math song. I'm sure some of these have good meanings behind them but they're still just weird.
