QOTD: When Celebrities Make Unhealthy Decisions
Question of the Day:
Celebrities can have a lot of influence over "normal people." Does it bother you when a celebrity makes unhealthy decisions? Does it change your perception of him/her?

it's their life. people can choose to watch or not
Yeah, because celebrities are gods among us mere mortals and I will do whatever the hell they're doing.
idc, celebrities are people too. it's their life and health, not mine.
it does not bother me at all. i might be surprised at times, but hey, it is their life.
it does bother me a bit when i hear about celebrities doing drugs, drinking and driving, smoking, etc. Because when I go watch teir movies, I'll think of them as a smoker or whatever and makes them look less attractive to watch.
i know celebrities are human beings too but so many look up to them that whatever decision they make, good or bad, will give off some kind of emotion to their fans.
I don't care.
Sorta. Especially if I didn't think they were the type to smoke.
It doesnt change ME but it does usually lowers my view of them
I don't care...
It doesn't usually bother me... but like...
Kristen Stewart. She's obviously a bunch of young girls role model... and I found out the other day, in Nylon magazine, that she smokes. Like, the writer was describing what she was doing after every question, etc. etc. And it would just mention her lighting a cigarette several times.
Dude?
What if all these little girls read that?
Everyone tries to be like "Bella" enough already. Little girls probably can't tell a difference between the actor and the character.
That bothers me.
And besides, I don't like Kristen Stewart, so.. more of a reason.
They are people. its not up to us how they act, just like its not up to them how i act
honestly, when i found out she smoked i liked her about half as much.. she was my favoite greys character until i found that out.
I don't really care.
I can't understand why, in looks-obsessed Hollywood, anyone smokes. Smoking smokes you (or whatever it was that the PSA said)...
It doesn't bother me when a celebrity makes unhealthy decisions, I really don't care what celebrities do. However, Josh Peck, the actor that plays Josh on Drake and Josh (a little kids show on Nickelodeon, I had to look up his name, I'm a dork, but not that big of a dork), was a bit overweight and decided to lose weight because he said he was a role model to kids that watched his show and didn't want to be overweight since it's unhealthy. I thought that was very commendable. So, it doesn't make me think less of anyone if they make unhealthy decisions, I do it everyday, but when someone does something like that, and does something difficult (like lose weight) in order to become healthier because they are a role model, well I think that's pretty terrific.
celebrities are people too. i dont care what they do with their life and they definitely dont influence me. i live for myself not for other people.
Celebrities are people. They shouldn't have to watch every single thing they do because some little kid looks up to them as a "role model." Maybe if parents would stop using the TV as a babysitter and start actually parenting, we wouldn't be having this discussion.
